Adult Individual Distances
Age groups: 17-39, 40+, and Beginner Adults 17+

| Super Sprint | 200m swim, 2.5km run |
| Beginners | Micro Sprint - 100m swim, 1.25km run |
Youth Individual Distances
| Age 7-8 | 50m swim, 1.25km run |
| Age 9-10 | Micro-Sprint - 100m swim, 1.25km run |
| Age 11-12 | Micro-Sprint - 100m swim, 1.25km run |
| Age 13-14 | Super Sprint - 200m swim, 2.5km run |
| Age 15-16 | Super Sprint - 200m swim, 2.5km run |
Categories & Awards
Age categories are defined by age on 31st December.
Every participant earns a commemorative medal on completing their aquathlon. Additionally, podium medals are awarded to the first three men and women in the following categories: 18-39, 40+, beginner adults, and each youth category.
